Gary has been helping clients buy and sell their homes since 1996. He soon after teamed up with his wife, Elaine, as "The Mates Who Sell Real Estate" and went on to accomplish many awards together. While listings have been down 1.3% and sales down 19% in the last year, average sale price in Corner Brook has stayed about the same. This can be contributed to the first time home buyer incentives and the newly introduced mortgage stress test that lowered the average sale price the year before. We are now seeing a leveling of prices to their natural levels. The average sales price in Corner Brook in 2019 was $199,749.
New listings have stayed the same compared to last year while sales have increased by 10%. The average sale price, however, dipped 5% after three consecutive years of growth in Pasadena. The average sales price in Pasadena in 2019 was $237,835.
The number of new listings in Deer Lake rose 10% in 2019 and the number of sales increased by 38%. The average price dropped 6% to $196,664.
